Answer – the live chat service we provide is with our trained operators (the reason for this is the UK regulators are very strict about all the rules being obeyed, so to avoid any fines we only allow customers to use our operators, not their own).
If you wish to set up a live chat service with your own operators, then you will need to contact the UK regulators www.phonepayplus.org.uk and pay the live bond – plus you will also need to install equipment to record all conversations and keep copies for one year. Question – It says that calls can be sent to a mobile, instead of a landline…does that mean you are given a sim card which has that number on? If not, how does it work. Thanks Tom Kullman.

I want to have a international premium rate phone number in the UK, I say international because I want access to this number from the Rep of Ireland, and only the Rep of Ireland, I understand how premium rate works with in the UK, but am not clear on international premium rate numbers from Rep of Ireland to the UK. I have seen the international premium rate number 00290…. from the Rep of Ireland to the UK, and would like if you could tell me how I to can get a 00290…. number, and what revenue could I expect from a 00290…. number, and wouid that international premium rate number be subject to the regulator in the UK if its not a live service. I would be so grateful to you if you answer these questions clearly for me.

Answer Question – I wanted to ask if I can operate a premium rate telephone service aimed at expats in spain, can i use 0906 numbers over here and will the clients pay more as the calls will be from overseas. Alternatively can you offer a spanish premuim rate number for this, i would like to have 2 types of service, ringtones, and vitual chat (message exchange and connnections) like maleforce! What you would need is a Spanish 090 number or an international premium rate phone number. My initial plan is to set up up 10 ten different lines . Answer – If you wish to set up a chat service there are specific rules from the regulators you must comply with for a chat service. Also by only charging 20p/min for your calls you will only be receiving back 11p/min for the calls you receive. |
