Question – hey I am very interested in starting up my own live chat line (premium rate) ive got operators waiting to work for me, I just need to get things up and running, but haven’t got a great deal of knowledge on how to start it up. i understand i need to use a company like yours which I am willing to do, just need a bit more information on how much i need to pay and what legal things i need to sort out if I need to etc, and registering a business. ‘090 Phone & Web Call Management’ is what I am interested in getting into so I can keep up to date on the process on what’s, going on in the business, such as checking what I am paying out to my operator’s etc. I have got operator’s from Australia wanting to work as well as the UK, would this be possible or is there an international line i could get set up? Answer – the live chat service we provide is with our trained operators (the reason for this is the UK regulators are very strict about all the rules being obeyed, so to avoid any fines we only allow customers to use our operators, not their own).
If you wish to set up a live chat service with your own operators, then you will need to contact the UK regulators www.phonepayplus.org.uk and pay the live bond – plus you will also need to install equipment to record all conversations and keep copies for one year.
